Dear Dr Patry:
I am not a student, but a professional conservation biologist working in the National Capital Region. I have attended several
of the Friday night Cinema Politica movies this year, not as many as I would have liked. I feel that it is a highly valuable
activity, despite the fact that I don't necessarily agree with all its ideas. The point is that it is a free forum for ideas.
I urge you to allow SCI 1502 to be given in the fall 2007 term, for the Ottawa Cinema Politica series to continue, and for
SCI 2101 to be created for September 2007. I believe that the university should encourage and celebrate this project. It
is an invaluable service for the community of the National Capital Region.
